Hi, I'm Anna, a recent graduate from Denison University with a degree in Cinema and Psychology and a deep interest in how the human experience can be interpreted through visual storytelling. My work explores the relationship between emotion, identity, and context, as well as the questions that arise from these interactions.Â
I believe cinema can function as a universal language, capable of communicating thoughts, feelings, and reality in ways that words alone cannot. This belief has led me to explore film not only through the camera's lens, but also through a psychological lens. I'm especially interested in how film and photography influence perception, memory, emotion, meaning-making, and how visual storytelling as a whole can help us better understand ourselves and others.
